Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar.
• 8+ years of experience in quality or manufacturing leadership positions.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma tools, APQP, Core Tools, Negotiation, 8Ds, DMAIC, Lean concepts, PPAP, FMEA.
• Data analysis and statistical aptitude and problem solving and multi- tasking skills.
• Solid knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to best practice quality vision, strategy, and procedures to improve performance.
• Lead and develop a team of 8 direct reports and over 100 staff in QM.
• Develop and continuously improve training methodologies, systems and personnel.
• Implement QMS procedures and ensure compliance.
• Ensure systems meet external certification bodies requirements.
• Respond to customer complaints with containment and corrective actions.
• Act as contact for warranty issues and claims with Technical Customer Service.
• Manage Quality Engineers and Technicians in sign-off of parts and resolutions.
• Report on quality metrics monthly.
• Work with Supplier Quality Assurance to reduce non-conforming materials.
• Develop KPIs for each area and monitor performance.
• Maintain relationships with internal/external stakeholders and liaise with suppliers and customers.
