Job summary

Advanced Digital Cable, Inc. in Blairsville, GA, is seeking a Senior Manager, Quality to lead the quality function across three manufacturing plants, ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

You will develop and execute the quality strategy, driving continuous improvement and strengthening ISO and UL compliance. Working cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, suppliers, and customer-facing teams, you will

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
• Quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, including managing direct reports.
• Experience developing, maintaining, or improving a Quality Management System.
• Working knowledge of ISO quality systems and audit requirements; UL compliance is a plus.
• Experience leading root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications, purchasing specifications, and quality requirements.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills regarding quality issues and corrective actions.
• Experience working with suppliers on quality performance and process improvements.
• Proficiency with quality tools such as 5 Why, fishbone, Pareto, control plans, audits, and data-based problem solving.
• Wire and cable manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality organization across three plants with coaching and development of Quality Supervisors.
• Develop and implement a strategic quality plan to reduce defects and improve process capability.
• Build and maintain a robust Quality Management System with documentation controls and audits.
• Ensure ISO and UL standards compliance and meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, Process Engineering, and Customer Service to identify risks and implement improvements.
• Lead customer quality issue resolution and communicate corrective actions to restore confidence.
• Work with Quality and Process Engineers to identify root causes and implement preventive actions.
• Hold suppliers accountable for meeting quality requirements and drive supplier improvements.
• Establish and report quality KPIs including complaints, defects, audit findings, and cost of poor quality.
• Support internal, supplier, customer, ISO, and UL audits and sustain corrective actions.
• Promote a quality-first culture through training and standard work.
