Job summary

Prysmian Group Sedalia plant seeks a Quality Manager to lead the quality team and sustain ISO 9001 QMS while ensuring product conformance for low‑voltage building wire. You will drive audits, improvements, and liaison with customers and North America HQ to meet business objectives.

The role demands strong manufacturing leadership, a technical background in metallurgy or mechanical engineering, and experience with quality systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; engineering degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing in a manufacturing facility.
• Mechanical engineering or metallurgy background preferred.
• Ability to understand the technical needs of customers and communicate internal nonconformities.
• Proficient with computer software; familiarity with quality management systems.
• Wire and cable experience a plus.
• Six Sigma and ASQ certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of quality technicians to ensure daily quality execution.
• Ensure products conform to specifications and customer requirements.
• Develop and implement quality control standards, processes, and controls.
• Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Quality System (ISO 9001).
• Conduct quality process audits and drive continuous improvement.
• Interact with customers and North America HQ on product quality and issues.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
