Job summary

Snyder Executive Search partners with an established Dayton manufacturer to recruit a Quality Manager for a critical on-site leadership role. You will shape the site quality strategy, build and mentor a high-performing team, and drive improvements across inspection, testing, and quality systems.

You will report to the Site Manager and work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to prevent issues, improve performance, and reduce cost of quality through Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive quality experience including leadership of a quality team.
• Experience in complex manufacturing with precision processes and automated systems.
• Strong ISO QMS expertise with successful certifications and improvements.
• Ability to analyze manufacturing quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Proven track record of continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong customer communication, leading quality reviews and resolving escalations.
• Experience developing people, setting expectations, and building accountable teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead ISO-based quality management system activities, audits, and corrective actions.
• Develop a multi-year quality strategy with priorities and milestones.
• Lead, coach, and develop quality engineers, technicians, and inspectors.
• Serve as primary quality contact for customers and manage reviews/corrective actions.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to strengthen process controls.
