Job summary

OMG Inc. in Agawam, MA, is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the site Quality Team and own manufacturing quality performance. The role focuses on CAPA, defect tracking, supplier quality, and maintaining the QMS to meet customer requirements.

The candidate will report to the Director of Quality and collaborate with NPD, Manufacturing, and Engineering to ensure production readiness and robust quality controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science related discipline or relevant experience
• Minimum 10 years’ experience leading and implementing quality improvements
• Management experience and ability to lead and motivate a team
• Knowledge of quality methods and systems: statistics, control plans, sampling, auditing
• LSS and ASQ certifications preferred
• Advanced PC skills including MS Office and Minitab

Responsibilities

• Promote safety as the number one priority for OMG employees
• Lead and develop the site quality team with coaching and development
• Own manufacturing quality performance at the Agawam site and drive CAPA
• Lead defect tracking, root cause investigations and CAPA verification
• Manage customer quality complaints and returns; primary quality contact
• Oversee supplier quality including new supplier qualification and performance
• Maintain the OMG Quality Management System (QMS) and internal audits
