Job summary

R3 Lithium, located in Covington, Georgia, seeks a Sr. Quality Manager to build and scale the quality function from ramp to full production. Lead the quality organization, assure product safety and regulatory compliance, and drive enterprise-wide quality improvements in a high-growth environment.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to implement SPC, CAPA, and DFQ/DFM initiatives, while overseeing laboratories, supplier quality, and customer metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quality management, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of quality assurance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in battery, electronics, chemical, or automotive industries preferred.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and customer quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of quality systems.
• Oversee QA and QC across the organization to meet safety and customer requirements.
• Drive strategic quality initiatives across Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Implement SPC, CAPA, FMEA, and DFQ/DFM collaboration with design teams.
• Manage non-conformances, audits, and supplier quality management.
• Lead internal and external audits for ISO certifications and regulatory inspections.
• Develop and mentor staff; promote data-driven decision making and quality culture.
