Job summary

Arconic Corporation seeks a Quality Manager to lead the Quality function for the Business and Construction Team in Springdale, Arkansas. You will drive policy, strategy, and compliance with customer specs and government regulations, while delivering continual improvement and cost reductions.

You will manage quality systems, ISO/AS9100, and a team of professionals, collaborating with NPD and operations and championing data-driven problem solving across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in metallurgy, technology, engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 7 years of work experience facilitating lean manufacturing programs.
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience with team development and leadership.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Developing and executing overall policy and strategy in extruded profiles stocks quality risk mitigations to ensure compliance with customer specifications and regulations.
• Utilize continuous improvement tools (A3s, Hoshin Plans, Ishikawa diagrams, Visual Management Boards, Daily Management Activities) to drive outcomes and metric reviews.
• Manage all Quality functions for QA systems, Product Configuration, Process/Product Inspection, Test Lab Certification, Calibrations, and Manufacturing Operations; oversee AS9100 accreditation processes.
• Facilitate quality-focused kaizen events based on business needs to achieve improvements.
• Collaborate with NPD&I production to determine quality requirements for new/existing products and establish manufacturing plans.
• Develop and mentor a team of quality professionals; collaborate with HR on succession planning and strategy.
• Improve process control using APQP methodologies.
