Job summary

Arconic is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the Quality function for the Springdale, Arkansas site. You will develop and execute policy, manage AS9100 processes, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations to meet customer specifications.

You will build and mentor a team of quality professionals, utilize tools like APQP and kaizen, and collaborate with NPD&I and operations to deliver excellence in product quality and cost performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in metallurgy, technology, engineering or related disciplines.
• 7+ years of experience facilitating lean manufacturing programs.
• 5+ years supervisory experience with team development and leadership.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute overall policy, strategy in extruded profiles quality risk mitigations to ensure compliance with customer specs and regulations.
• Utilize continuous improvement tools to drive outcomes (A3s, Hoshin Plans, Ishikawa diagrams, Visual Management Boards, Daily Management Activities).
• Manage Quality functions for QA Systems, Product Configuration, Process/Product Inspection, Test Lab Certification, Calibrations and Manufacturing Operations; oversee AS9100 processes.
• Facilitate quality kaizen events to achieve immediate and sustainable improvements.
• Collaborate with NPD&I production to determine quality requirements and establish manufacturing plans.
• Develop and mentor a team of quality professionals; drive succession planning and 전략 for the team.
• Improve process control using APQP methodologies.
