Job summary

Bay Colony Search seeks a hands-on Quality Leader for a precision manufacturing company. You will build a quality system from the ground up, own audits, calibration, and supplier quality, and drive Six Sigma into daily operations.

You will sit in on design and engineering discussions, mentor the quality team, translate customer specs into manufacturing requirements, and report to leadership on the cost of quality.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of quality leadership in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; we care about capability over where the degree came from.
• Hands-on Six Sigma experience; not just certification.
• Comfort delivering bad news to leadership or customers in a constructive way.

Responsibilities

• Build and run a quality management system from scratch, not an inherited one.
• Be the first point of contact for defects, complaints, or cost-driving processes.
• Lead the quality team day-to-day, coaching through real problems.
• Collaborate with design and engineering early to make quality an integral part of products.
