Ultimate Staffing Services in Pittsfield, MA is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead QA activities across the manufacturing process, ensuring products meet specifications from production to delivery readiness. You will supervise QC staff, establish procedures, and drive compliance and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in manufacturing QA, knowledge of quality systems, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

3–5 years of quality control in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with quality management systems and inspection procedures.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise, mentor, and direct Quality Control personnel.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and policies.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Review and verify the accuracy of production documentation and records.
Manage inspection activities and maintain quality documentation.
Perform visual, mechanical, and functional inspections of products during and after manufacturing.
Conduct final inspections to ensure products meet specifications and are ready for delivery.
Identify defects, abnormalities, and non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions.
Analyze quality data and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement efforts.
