Job summary

Strata Clean Energy is seeking a Quality Lead to implement and manage the project Quality Assurance Program for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. The role leads Quality Technicians and temporary labor, and acts as the primary quality expert for structural, mechanical, and electrical inspections on-site.

The position requires leading staff, developing ITPs, auditing QC documentation, and reporting to senior management while ensuring schedule, safety, and quality compliance.

Qualifications

• 3 years verifiable Quality Management/Lead experience or 4-year degree in construction or similar
• OSHA 30 or NCCER STS‑C
• NFPA 70E
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Understanding of current technology practices
• Clear understanding of OSHA safe workplace practices
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Ability to read electrical single-line and three-line diagrams
• Ability to travel and work on-call/off-shift/weekends

Responsibilities

• Oversees Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Technicians and Temp Labor
• Develops Inspection Test Points (ITPs) and reviews with Superintendents
• Maintains and updates ITPs throughout the project
• Audits QC documentation
• Holds daily meetings to communicate quality requirements
• Provides weekly reporting to Senior Management
• Trains QA personnel on ITPs and inspection requirements
• Generates Non‑Conformance Reports (NCR) and Corrective Action Reports (CAR)
• Verifies tooling calibration certifications
• Ensures delivery of quality inspection reports
• Interacts with Construction Manager, Superintendent, and Engineering for QC/testing requirements
