Job summary

RTX Collins Aerospace is seeking an on-site Quality Inspector in Wilson, NC to perform dimensional and visual inspections per approved data. You will use precision measuring tools and document results while ensuring adherence to work instructions.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years in inspection and basic computer skills. The role requires flexibility for shifts and overtime as needed, with competitive benefits offered by RTX.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Prior relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools and gauges using applicable procedures.
• May use fixed or variable measuring instruments and record results.
• Compute pass/fail results based on tolerances.
• Follow procedures to verify dimensions and ensure Work Instructions are followed.
• Coordinate repair or calibration of measuring equipment as needed.
• Support continuous improvement activities to meet business objectives.
• Maintain Inspection stamp.
• Manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Flexibility around shifts for training and to maintain workflow, including overtime.
