Qualifications

• Inspect machined parts, fabrications, and weldments for specified dimensions and tolerances.
• Read blueprints and use inspection tools according to procedures.
• Able to document results in English and follow written specifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined parts, fabrications, and weldments for dimensions and tolerances.
• Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM for measurements.
• Follow written procedures; record and report results accurately.
• Inspect castings, forgings, and weldments using Visual and Liquid Penetrant methods.
• Identify non-conformities and communicate issues to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with production to ensure timely inspection of finished and rough castings.
• Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment.
• Fill in as dimensional inspector in Trim & Drain cell when needed.
• Contribute to continual improvement of inspection processes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and keep workspace clean.
