Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
• More than 1 year of experience performing Quality Inspections.
• More than 1 year of experience with QA specifications and requirements.
• More than 1 year of experience documenting corrective actions and non-conformance.
• More than 1 year of experience reading aerospace drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators).
• Capable of lifting 20 lbs or more on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

• Initiates corrective actions with Manufacturing, ATLO, and Engineering teams.
• Maintains systems that assure quality and traceability of incoming materials and final products.
• Interfaces with Design and Manufacturing Engineering, Materials, Procurement and Shipping on design, methods, tooling, cost and quality.
• Monitors manufacturing processes through audits and evaluations to ensure operations meet specifications.
• Documents discrepancies during manufacturing and test operations.
• Performs verifications and documents results clearly and completely.
• Supports in other inspection areas as needed.
• Develops and audits inspection and test plans and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitates root cause analysis with production leadership.
• Assists in audits and surveys.
• Makes recommendations for process improvements on assigned programs.
