Job summary

Redwire Defense Tech is seeking a Quality Inspector I in Ann Arbor, MI. You will perform receiving, in-process, and final inspection of parts and assemblies to verify conformance to drawings and work instructions in an AS9100 environment.

Under supervision, you will document results, identify nonconforming material, and support the quality management system while maintaining calibrated equipment and a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret basic engineering drawings and specifications.
• Operate basic inspection tools to verify dimensions per drawings.
• Maintain accurate inspection records in ERP/quality systems.
• Possess attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspection of parts and assemblies.
• Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges and gauges to verify dimensions.
• Record results and identify nonconforming items for disposition.
• Ensure measuring tools are calibrated and maintain clean work area.
• Support first article inspections under supervision.
