Moog is seeking a Quality Engineering Manager to lead the Quality Engineering function for Electronic Operations at the East Aurora site. You will report to the Site Electronic Operations Director and oversee a team onsite in Buffalo, NY, driving product and process quality, continuous improvement, and compliance with customer and government requirements.

You will mentor engineers, lead root-cause investigations, and partner with supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing to raise quality

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of engineering, quality, or manufacturing experience in a regulated industry.
• Minimum 2 years of people leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, statistical methods, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, and other quality improvement methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated success driving quality performance, compliance, and operational excellence in manufacturing.

• Establish and achieve quality objectives, including COPQ reduction and NPI readiness.
• Partner with supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, and inspection teams to improve product quality and performance.

• Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, government, and company quality requirements.
• Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for significant quality issues.
• Provide technical leadership in DOE, SPC, and statistical methods.
• Develop and maintain inspection and quality control plans aligned with risk.
• Coordinate quality activities across functions and participate in reviews/audits.
