Job summary

KBR is seeking a Sr. Technical Professional - Quality Engineering to establish and maintain quality standards for receiving, in-process, and final inspections per contract requirements.

The role ensures compliance through inspections, audits, tests, and validations across design, engineering, and production. The candidate will lead the quality team, perform root-cause analyses, drive corrective actions, and contribute to project objectives while providing metrics to management and supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 5 years of experience; or 13 years of progressive related experience in lieu of formal education.
• Quality certification such as ISO9001/AS9120 or GD&T is required.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• U.S. citizen with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to quality processes and contractual requirements.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee daily quality operations and supervise the quality team.
• Contribute to unit objectives, work plans, and schedules.
• Allocate resources to ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Provide status reports and quality metrics to management.
• Lead daily team activities to meet schedule and contract parameters.
• Offer technical guidance and direction to team members.
• Participate in design reviews to ensure quality requirements.
