Job summary

Insitu in Washington state is seeking an Experienced Quality Engineer to drive quality across the supply chain, review designs, lead MRB and RCCA efforts, and mentor technicians. You will promote data-driven decision making and support continuous improvement in manufacturing and supplier performance.

Additionally, you will perform supplier audits, support onboarding of new suppliers, review FAIRs per AS9102, and travel up to about 10% domestically to engage with suppliers and ensure quality

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and PCBAs.
• Strong problem solving and data analysis skills.
• Experience with supplier quality and audits.
• Willing to travel domestically up to ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Manage inspection criteria for various parts.
• Lead MRB meetings to decide nonconforming material dispositions.
• Lead RCCA activities and drive closed-loop solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems.
• Collect data to inform decisions on inspection and nonconforming material.
• Audit suppliers and support new supplier onboarding and performance reviews.
• Review designs and manufacturing instructions for feedback.
• Generate and manage FAIRs per AS9102.
• Foster positive supplier relationships and mentor Quality staff.
• Support inspection activities as needed.
