Job summary

Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. in Concord, NC, seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to lead root cause investigations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer requirements across the plant.

You will mentor junior engineers, support new product launches, manage supplier and customer quality, and act as a technical resource for APQP/PPAP, control plans, and SPC while collaborating with Operations, Design, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Proven track record leading APQP/PPAP activities and customer-facing programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the plant QMS in line with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and customer requirements.
• Lead audits and drive corrective actions to closure with timely preventive actions.
• Own control plans, PFMEAs, process flow diagrams, and ensure audit-ready documentation.
• Lead root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma.
