Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in software quality engineering and test automation.
• Experience writing automated tests with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript, async programming, debugging, and maintainable code.
• Experience testing REST APIs via Playwright, Postman, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated Playwright tests for web apps and workflows.
• Create test strategies for functional, integration, end-to-end, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Test REST APIs, including auth, requests, responses, errors, and system interactions.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality checks.
• Investigate failures, troubleshoot defects, and document steps with evidence.
• Improve reliability by reducing flaky tests and maintaining test utilities and data.
• Design and execute performance tests to assess latency and throughput under load.
• Use SQL to validate data across applications and integrations.
• Contribute to accessibility, cross-browser, and responsive testing.
• Communicate release risks and quality trends to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve testing practices based on customer impact and risk.
