GLOBO is seeking a QA Automation Engineer contractor to help ensure high-quality, error-free web and mobile experiences for clients around the clock. You will work with engineering teams to build and run automated and manual tests across REST APIs, UI, and mobile apps, leveraging Playwright and Appium.

The role emphasizes collaboration, rapid defect detection, and deployment-time testing, with a mix of exploratory testing and automation to continuously improve product quality and reliability.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (CS/IS) required.
• 3+ years of software development or testing experience.
• Experience with automated testing tools (Playwright/Selenium/Cypress).
• Experience testing APIs with Postman.
• Clear verbal and written communication.

Responsabilidades

• Create and update comprehensive test cases for new features.
• Create, manage, and execute automation tests (Unit, Integration, UI, API) in Playwright and Appium for web and mobile apps.
• Validate and document production bugs reported in tickets or error systems.
• Execute manual tests and document results as needed.
• Recommend improvements to enhance operability and usability.
• Collaborate with engineering during deployments for successful upgrades.
