Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation, a leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product and process quality on the production floor. You will apply quality-control tools, support new product introductions, and drive improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a discrete/assembly environment. Strong knowledge of core quality tools and GD&T is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of quality-engineering experience in a discrete/assembly environment.
• Experience applying quality core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and inspection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements control plans, inspection methods and quality standards.
• Performs root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving (8D).
• Supports process validation (APQP, PPAP, FMEA) and capability studies.
• Manages non-conformances, containment and corrective actions.
• Supports pilot runs, line launches and production ramp.
• Analyzes and reports quality KPIs (PPM, FTY, SPC, MSA) and drives improvements.
• Partners with Manufacturing and Supplier Quality on defect reduction.
