Job summary

Sonny’s Enterprises in the USA is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and maintain quality systems, drive ERP integration, and lead NPI quality. You will support manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering or related fields, 3+ years as a Quality Engineer, and strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and Lean/Six Sigma. Some travel may be required as part of the quality initiative and supplier collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in engineering or a technical role
• 3+ years of experience as Quality Engineer or similar
• Exceptional mechanical aptitude
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and components
• Experience with new product introduction
• Experience with ISO 9001
• Experience with ERP systems
• Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma training is desirable
• Experience in conducting supplier/internal audits is desirable

Responsibilities

• Warranty management: investigate returns, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions
• Lead QMS initiatives and document processes for clear roles and expectations
• Participate in ERP implementation as Quality representative and ensure system integration
• Oversee quality aspects of new product introductions (FMEA, capability, gauges)
• Determine best methods to ensure process capability and product quality
• Manage MRB workflows, data collection, and corrective actions
• Conduct audits of product, process, and systems
• Manage supplier quality records and SCAR processes
• Act as external quality liaison with customers and document quality priorites
