Job summary

Sonny's Enterprises LLC is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and maintain quality systems across manufacturing and business processes. You will drive the implementation of QMS, lead cross-functional teams, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include warranty management, NPI quality, ERP integration, MRB handling, and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years in engineering or a technical role.
• 3+ years as Quality Engineer or similar.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge.
• Experience with NPI and ISO 9001.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Lean/Six Sigma is preferred.
• Experience in supplier/internal audits encouraged.
• Strong customer relationship management and multitasking.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook; good written communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Warranty management and RMA investigations with corrective actions.
• Lead QMS development, documentation, and training materials.
• Participate in ERP implementation from a quality perspective.
• Oversee NPI quality, process capability, FMEA, gage/test equipment.
• Determine best methods for process capability and audits.
• Manage MRB processes and supplier quality interactions.
• Conduct audits of product, process, and systems.
• Develop quality metrics and reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements.
