Job summary

Evolent Specialty Services, Inc is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to design and drive comprehensive test strategies for complex software applications. You will lead manual and automated testing, develop robust automation frameworks, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in CS or related field, 5+ years in software QA, proficiency in Karate or Playwright, coding skills in C#/Java/Python/JS, and experience with Git and agile methods.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance (QA).
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (Karate and/or Playwright preferred).
• Strong coding skills in C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Experience in agile development environments and agile methodologies.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Stay updated on emerging testing tools, technologies, and best practices, and evaluate their applicability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (Karate and/or Playright preferred).
• Strong coding skills in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Experience with with version control systems such as Git.
• In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Experience working in agile development environments and understanding of agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and mentor junior team members

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $105,000 - 121,000.
