Job summary

Energetiq Technology, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Senior Quality Engineer to improve the performance, quality, and manufacturability of complex electromechanical products.

This role provides exposure across the complete product lifecycle, from development and validation through manufacturing, supplier quality, and field performance. The successful candidate will lead investigations, apply structured problem-solving methods, analyze data from multiple sources, and collaborate with Engineering,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Quality, Manufacturing, or related engineering.
• Six+ years of relevant quality experience.
• Hands-on experience investigating and resolving complex product or process issues.
• Experience with structured problem-solving, statistics, and risk-management methods.
• Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and communicate conclusions.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in complex products.
• Strong leadership, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across functions.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel and ERP/MRP or databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead product and process investigations including containment, root cause analysis, corrective action and verification of effectiveness.
• Analyze manufacturing, supplier, customer complaint, and product data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Apply structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, DMAIC, 5-Why, Fishbone, and FMEA.
• Partner with R&D and Product Engineering on design reviews, validation, risk assessments, PFMEAs, control plans, and NPI.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers to understand concerns and communicate investigations.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve quality, process capability, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop meaningful quality metrics and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Promote Quality Engineering practices and support audits.
