Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; 5+ years in manufacturing.
• Strong root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and FMEA experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions for production defects, supplier issues, product failures, warranty claims, and customer returns.
• Apply advanced quality tools, including SPC, FMEA, Gage R&R, process capability studies, and control plans, to improve quality and prevent defects.
• Analyze quality performance data and lead initiatives to reduce scrap, rework, returns, downtime, and overall cost of poor quality.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, materials, and suppliers to ensure product designs, specifications, and processes meet quality standards.
• Support Quality Management System improvements, provide technical guidance and training, and lead cross-functional quality projects.

An industry leading organization in the electromechanical product manufacturing industry is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to provide quality engineering leadership across products, manufacturing processes, suppliers, and quality systems. This position will be responsible for driving defect reduction, root-cause resolution, product reliability, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with customer and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions for production defects, supplier issues, product failures, warranty claims, and customer returns.
• Apply advanced quality tools, including SPC, FMEA, Gage R&R, process capability studies, and control plans, to improve quality and prevent defects.
• Analyze quality performance data and lead initiatives to reduce scrap, rework, returns, downtime, and overall cost of poor quality.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in root-cause analysis, corrective action, SPC, FMEA, Gage R&R, process capability, and First Article Inspection.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Proven ability to lead projects, influence cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality-analysis software; Lean or Six Sigma training preferred.
