Job summary

Neros Technologies seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to own electro-mechanical build quality as production scales. You will act as the technical authority on workmanship, lead MRB for defects, and partner with manufacturing and engineering to contain issues, root-cause them, and ensure durable fixes for high-velocity production environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with electro-mechanical hardware, DFQ during NPI, and a metrics-driven quality program, including SPC and calibration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace engineering.
• 5+ years in quality, manufacturing, reliability, or design engineering for electro-mechanical hardware production.
• Experience with GD&T and hands-on metrology (calipers, height gauges, CMM, visual inspection).
• Experience with electro-mechanical assembly processes (fastening, torque control, harness routing, bonding) and defect modes.
• Track record leading RCCA to closure on production lines (8D, 5 Whys, fishbone); PFMEA, control plans, FAI, SPC.

Responsibilities

• Own electro-mechanical quality across the factory as the technical authority on workmanship and acceptance, from components to final vehicle assembly.
• Act as first responder for quality issues on the line; disposition defects and drive MRB closures.
• Lead MRB for electro-mechanical nonconformances and containment on high-impact escapes.
• Lead root cause investigations with engineering and verify fixes on the line.
• Define electro-mechanical quality metrics and SPC strategy; build dashboards with software teams.
• Run build quality reviews with production and engineering leadership; set priorities by risk.
• Set inspection and test strategy for electro-mechanical assembly; optimize inspection points; prove processes capable.
• Drive DFQ during new product introduction and design changes to influence components and assemblies.
• Own factory measurement and calibration program; gauges, torque tools, Gage R&R; workmanship certification; audits.
