Job summary

BarSplice is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to support manufacturing operations, drive quality improvements, and maintain ISO 9001 compliance. The role coordinates with engineering and manufacturing to lead change management and deliver corrective actions.

Responsibilities include supplier audits, regular quality/product audits, and KPI tracking to meet industry quality standards and customer satisfaction. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering/Technical field or 8+ years experience in manufacturing or quality.
• Background in a machining and manufacturing environment.
• Proven management experience with ISO 9001.
• Proficient in conducting internal process and product audits.
• Strong working knowledge of FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and problem-solving tools.
• Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5-2009 GD&T standard.
• Experience in developing manufacturing process and inspection plans.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within company and customer locations.
• Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in using various software and technology platforms related to quality control and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Epicor and 1-Factory is a plus
• Must be able to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of various industry standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations with quality improvements and ISO 9001 adherence.
• Lead audits and corrective actions across supplier and internal networks.
• Coordinate change management with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Guide production and inspection personnel to meet customer quality expectations.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure quality targets are met.
