Job summary

FC Industries, Inc. (BarSplice division) in Dayton, Ohio seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to support manufacturing operations, implement quality improvements, and maintain the ISO 9001 system. You will coordinate with engineering and production resources to lead projects meeting strict quality requirements.

The role includes guiding production and quality teams, engaging with suppliers, issuing corrective actions, and performing audits to ensure KPI achievement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering/Technical field or 8+ years in manufacturing or quality.
• Background in a machining and manufacturing environment.
• Proven ISO 9001 management experience.
• Proficient in conducting internal process and product audits.
• Strong knowledge of FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and problem solving.
• Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5-2009 GD&T standard.
• Experience in developing manufacturing processes and inspection plans.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within company and customer locations.
• Excellent technical, analytical, and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations and drive quality improvements.
• Maintain ISO 9001 quality management system.
• Lead change management with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Guide production and inspection staff to meet quality expectations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and issue internal/external corrective actions.
