Job summary
The BarSplice division of FC Industries, Inc. seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to support manufacturing operations, drive ISO 9001 quality system improvements, and lead cross-functional projects to meet strict quality goals.
You will guide production and QA personnel to ensure customer satisfaction and KPI achievement. This role requires a BS in Engineering or 8+ years in manufacturing/quality, plus strong knowledge of FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, ASME GD&T, and audit experience; Dayton, Ohio based with
Qualifications
- BS in engineering or technical field or substantial manufacturing/quality experience.
- Proven ISO 9001 management and auditing experience.
- Strong knowledge of FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and problem-solving tools.
- GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2009) knowledge and experience.
- Experience in developing manufacturing processes and inspection plans.
- Ability to communicate across all levels and locations.
Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing operations and drive quality improvements.
- Maintain and improve the ISO 9001 quality management system.
- Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing resources on change management.
- Lead projects to meet strict quality requirements and KPIs.
- Interact with supplier network and issue corrective actions.
- Perform internal and external quality audits.
