Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer (QE) III to own the overall quality delivered for products and services. The role partners with CI to remove cost drivers, implement visual KPI metrics, and maintain CAPA systems for containment, correction, and prevention.

You will coordinate with Quality Technicians, drive corrective actions, participate in PRR, and support quality improvement and customer satisfaction in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of related quality experience with proven SPC and lean methods.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 quality systems and audits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work with Quality Technicians and inspectors.
• Drive corrective actions and failure analysis in a timely manner.
• Participate in PRR and Final Inspection coordination.
• Support quality improvement strategies and workmanship criteria interpretation.
• Perform process capability analyses and implement inspection plans.
• Lead internal audits of QMS, purchasing, and manufacturing processes.
• Reduce defects via data analysis and team problem-solving.
• Review customer contracts and flow down new requirements.
