Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Quality Engineer III for the Dublin, GA area. The position focuses on leading site quality improvements, implementing QMS procedures, and auditing activities across value streams.

You will drive supplier and customer quality actions and mentor teams in problem‑solving methodologies. The role requires deep knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100, MRB authority, and strong data analysis with Minitab.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 3 years with an advanced degree.
• Experience handling complex, multi‑value‑stream quality issues and leading cross‑functional initiatives.
• MRB/issue disposition authority preferred.
• Strong knowledge of QMS standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Auditing experience and travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer, regulatory and Parker PQP requirements into site processes.
• Own deployment and governance of PQP tools and quality procedures at the site.
• Lead cross‑value‑stream or multi‑site problem solving using structured methods (A3, 8D, DMAIC, 5‑Why, Fishbone).
• Facilitate MRB activities; certify disposition of nonconforming material; CAPA effectiveness.
• Develop and deploy solutions to systemic issues; drive root‑cause elimination and risk reduction.
• Own process capability and control (SPC, Cp/Cpk).
• Plan and lead internal audits; represent the site during external audits and drive corrective actions.
• Engage with suppliers and customers on quality actions and issues.
• Coordinate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve issues.
• Promote culture of quality and safety and continuous improvement.
