Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Engineer to coordinate all quality‑related activities for the F‑35 Flight Test Maintenance, Modification, and Repair program at Edwards AFB. You will engage with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to ensure quality standards are in place.

The role requires STEM background, strong communication, and proficiency in blueprint reading; occasional deployments and shift rotations are possible; US Citizenship and interim

Qualifications

• STEM Degree or a closely related technical discipline required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; experience producing technical reports, audit findings, and briefings for senior leadership.
• Fluent in blueprint/engineering reading.
• Process Mapping Experience.
• Experience conducting RCCA.
• Fluent in MS Office to include MS Visio.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute all quality‑related activities for the F‑35 Flight Test Maintenance, Modification, and Repair program at Edwards AFB.
• Manage quality processes to ensure compliance with government, contractor, and customer requirements.
• Develop and improve Quality Management Plans, Process Surveillance, and ITF procedures.
• Support short duration deployments, business trips, and shift rotations; clearance required.
