Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Archbald, PA is seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer to drive quality practices across design, production, and supplier processes, ensuring reliability and compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

You will apply quality principles to design reviews, material inspection, and supplier performance; lead corrective/preventive actions and MRB decisions; travel as needed and maintain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline with 5 years of professional experience, 3 years with a related Master's degree, or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection and test of manufactured products.
• Understanding of Configuration Management and control processes.
• Practices using causal analysis tools to drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines and support engineering activities related to special process surveys and supplier issues.
• Ability to obtain a secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Apply quality principles to design, incoming material, production control, and product evaluation.
• Conduct technical evaluations of requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings, and procedures.
• Lead product‑failure investigations, material‑review‑board decisions, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve internal and supplier performance and productivity.
• Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, perform statistical analysis, and ensure compliance with reliability standards.
