Job summary

Plexus Corp. in Buffalo Grove, IL, is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure products meet customer specifications, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Plexus standards. You will lead ECOs and CAPA, and support audit activities and NPI documentation.

The role requires collaboration with Process and Product Engineers, development of inspection strategies, and ongoing commitment to QMS compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary customer contact for quality-related issues and audits, leading responses and actions.
• Lead CAPA development and containment for customer quality concerns.
• Develop and maintain inspection strategies for receiving, pre-ship, and out-of-box audits.
• Ensure Certificates of Compliance and quality history documentation are created and maintained.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) documentation and internal audits.
