Job summary

VERSANT Media seeks a highly technical Senior Quality Engineer to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-quality products. You will combine hands-on testing with automation, risk-based strategies, and AI-assisted quality practices across software, hardware, and POS integrations.

You will partner with Engineering, Product, DevOps, Security, and other stakeholders to raise quality standards, integrate tests into CI/CD, and influence release confidence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, SDET, or a related technical quality role with ownership of testing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain risk-based test strategies across functional, integration, API, hardware, POS device, and end-to-end workflows.
• Create scalable automated testing solutions for smoke, regression, integration, and end-to-end coverage.
• Integrate automated quality checks into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates with engineering teams.
• Lead exploratory testing, triage defects, perform root-cause analysis, and produce release-readiness assessments.
• Validate complex integrations across software, APIs, hardware, POS devices, and external systems.
• Advance QA practices by evaluating AI-enabled tools to accelerate test design and maintenance.
