Dropzone is seeking the first dedicated Quality Engineer to establish the QA foundation for AI-driven systems. You will define testing strategies, expand validation across CI, and elevate quality practices across the engineering org.

This role offers the chance to shape end-to-end quality in cutting-edge software while working remotely. You will design automated test suites, integrate tests into release pipelines, and ensure observability to accelerate root-cause analysis in a fast-paced startup

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in software quality engineering or related field.
• Strong investigative instincts and root-cause analysis.
• Experience isolating external dependencies during integration tests.

Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining testing systems for deterministic logic and AI-influenced behavior.
• Integrating validations into CI, release pipelines, and review workflows.
• Expand test methodology to integration, system, stress, and full workflow testing.
• Maintain dependable test environments with strong instrumentation and observability.
