Job summary

Dropzone AI is seeking its first dedicated quality engineer to establish the foundation for validating AI-driven systems and defining the long-term quality roadmap. You will elevate the engineering organization as the product scales, enabling strong quality practices across the stack.

You will design testing systems integrated into CI, release pipelines, and reviews, expand verification to integration and system testing, and build reliable environments and tooling to accelerate root-cause

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software quality engineering or related field.
• Strong investigative instincts and root-cause analysis.
• Experience isolating external dependencies during integration tests.
• Hands-on with systems powered by LLMs or probabilistic tech.
• Proficiency with Python and test frameworks in container environments.
• Designing automated test suites across multiple stack layers.
• Experience with fully containerized development workflows.
• Data-driven mindset and startup mindset under ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining testing systems for deterministic and AI-influenced behavior integrated into CI, release pipelines, and reviews.
• Engaging with engineering early to surface risks and promote testability.
• Expanding verification to integration, system, stress, and full workflow tests.
• Maintaining dependable test environments with strong instrumentation and observability.
• Building tools, fixtures, and libraries to generate stable test conditions for complex scenarios.
