Lycoming Engines, part of Textron, is seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer to lead quality assurance programs, drive process improvement, and ensure products meet the highest standards.

The role requires strong knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, SPC, and Value Stream Mapping, with a focus on AS9100 and FAA regulatory requirements. You will develop inspection plans and control plans, analyze performance metrics, and support new product introductions from concept to production.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Five years’ experience in Manufacturing/Assembly Operations, Quality, Engineering, and/or Procurement.
• Knowledge of AS9100 standards and FAA regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency with Lean Manufacturing, SPC, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ASQ certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develops, implements, and maintains quality assurance protocols to ensure AS9100 and FAA compliance.
• Conducts root cause analysis and implements corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Performs internal audits and supports audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborates with engineering, production, and supply chain to maintain quality through the product lifecycle.
• Maintains quality documentation, including inspection and control plans, reports.
