Job summary

Isar Aerospace SE is seeking a senior quality professional to manage inspection programs, ensure compliance, and drive continual improvement across assembly, integration and testing of launch vehicle components.

You will lead quality control activities, evaluate nonconformities, and implement corrective actions while coordinating with production and engineering teams to maintain top-tier product quality.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years in highly regulated production environments (Aerospace, Defence, Automotive).
• At least 3 years in Quality or Testing roles.
• Experience with CFRP manufacturing or testing is advantageous.
• Experience with AS 9100:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 is advantageous.
• Fluent in English; German is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the assembly, integration and testing cycle of launch vehicle components.
• Plan and execute quality control activities and evaluate nonconformities.
• Specify corrective and preventive actions to resolve issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with technical standards.
• Oversee production and engineering processes to ensure proper use of tools and procedures.
• Interpret test requirements and propose solutions to issues.
• Create quality and safety documentation and manage internal audits.
• Plan regular product inspections and review documentation.
