Job summary

Howmet Fastening Systems (HFS), part of Howmet Aerospace, is seeking a Sr Quality Engineer (Aerospace) at our Carson, CA site to lead customer liaison, drive quality improvements, and ensure compliance with aerospace specifications.

You will review complaints, analyze data, perform root-cause investigations, support audits, and collaborate with Engineering and Sales to resolve issues. Occasional travel to customers and suppliers may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in quality within production/manufacturing.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Review customer complaints and analyze returns for corrective action.
• Review data and present improvements using graphical formats.
• Assist in plant audits and system surveys.
• Develop and update Quality Assurance procedures.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Sales on development problems.
• Drive process improvements through statistical sampling and testing.
