Job summary

Anduril Industries in Lexington, MA, currently relocating to Waltham, MA, seeks a Senior Product Quality Engineer to ensure manufacturing processes and products meet quality standards through inspections and data analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement QA protocols in a regulated environment.

You should have 5+ years in aerospace/defense quality, ISO 9001/AS9100 experience, and hands-on metrology expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with OEM suppliers and manufacturing operations building complex hardware/software systems.
• 5+ years experience in engineering, manufacturing, or quality within aerospace/defense, automotive, or medical device fields.
• Experience in ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 regulated environments.
• Working knowledge of Quality core tools such as FMEA, RCCA/8D, Change Management, APQP, PPAP, and GD&T.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical metrology tools.
• Working knowledge of electro-mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to own and drive projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvements in product design, manufacturing, suppliers and service to improve reliability across the lifecycle.
• Drive QMS compliance and sustainability to AS9100.
• Develop and improve KPIs for Quality across product quality.
• Develop data-driven approaches to evaluate and track quality and reliability (suppliers, manufacturing, field).
• Support and improve internal tracking tools for supplier incoming, in-process, and field quality issues.
• Lead investigations and corrective/preventive actions with internal teams and suppliers.
• Support raw material supplier inspection and incoming inspection program.
• Carry out containment, audit, and disposition actions of any quality escapes or defective material.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define and execute the product roadmap with production for inspection and tests.
