Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field is required.
• 10+ years work experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 5 years in a quality engineering role, preferably in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze quality metrics and trends; provide data-driven insights to support continuous improvement.
• Identify and resolve product and process defects through RCCA, including countermeasure sheets and 5-Whys.
• Interact with operators to confirm and reinforce quality requirements.
• Facilitate MSA to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurements.
• Support containment activities in response to quality issues.
• Conduct and support internal process audits.
• Manage work packages and support CARs.
• Respond to PFMEA activities.
• Review technical documents and contractual quality requirements.
• Apply GD&T to ensure design integrity.
• Detect and help define counterfeit part controls.
• Support Basis of Estimate (BOE) development for scope planning.
• Drive ROI-focused initiatives and continuous quality improvements.
