Job summary

Qarbon Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a senior Quality Engineer 4 to support production operations and define quality systems for aerospace projects. You will lead FPQ/FAI activities, ensure tooling validity, and drive process improvements across composite and metallic structures.

The role requires 10–14 years in aerospace manufacturing, strong GD&T knowledge, and CATIA or NX CAD experience. Active clearance is highly preferred; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing or aerospace engineering.
• 10–14 years of relevant aerospace experience.
• Experience with composite and metallic structures.
• CAD experience with CATIA and/or NX.
• Clear communication of complex technical information.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to production operations and establish quality system definitions.
• Lead FPQ/FAI methods and related inspection planning.
• Ensure tooling and production conform to fabrications and customer requirements.
• Implement APQP tools to evaluate designs and processes in manufacturing.
• Identify and introduce new technology aligned with program requirements.
• Maintain adherence to FAA, DoD, ITAR, Nadcap, AS9100 standards.
