Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Electrochemistry, or a related field required with 5+ years in battery technologies.
- Master's degree with 5+ years in battery technologies like Li-Ion, Na-Ion, Solid-State preferred.
- Experience with Physics-based, Mechanical, and Thermal simulation for Battery Cells.
Responsibilities
- Lead the scouting, designing and validating of novel battery cell technologies with focus on energy, power, charge rate and cycle life.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments related to new materials and cell testing.
- Collaborate across disciplines to integrate new technologies into platforms.
- Analyze electrochemical data and investigate degradation or failure mechanisms.
