Job summary

Eaton seeks a Senior Quality Engineer for its Kings Mountain, NC manufacturing facility. This on-site role reports to the Quality Manager and champions the EQMS and EBS as the voice of the customer, focusing on process controls and customer-driven quality.

You will drive corrective actions using SPC, 8D, and A3, manage a small QC team, and develop validation methods to ensure consistent quality while supporting continuous improvement and audits under IATF16949.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum three years ofQuality Engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Willing to relocate within the United States/PR; sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day quality functions for manufacturing and machining processes.
• Champion EQMS and EBS as the voice of the customer for the facility.
• Develop and maintain process controls meeting customer requirements.
• Lead corrective actions using SPC, 8D, 5 Why, A3 and other tools.
• Support FPY improvement, internal/external customer complaints, and DPPM reduction.
• Manage a small team of Quality Technicians and participate in audits.
