Job summary

Impact Business Group is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer for a global automotive manufacturing client in the Grand Rapids area. You will drive quality performance, lead IATF16949 compliance, and collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to support programs and launches.

The role focuses on quality systems, APQP/PPAP, corrective actions, and continuous improvement through cross-functional cooperation. A proactive problem-solving mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

• Making sure the highest quality of parts are delivered to customers.
• Supporting suppliers, customers, operations and program launches; ensuring IATF16949 compliance.
• Internal auditing.
• PPAP submissions; APQP documentation.
• Developing and managing quality systems.
• Supporting corrective action processes.
• Problem-solving and analysis of quality documentation.
• Customer interaction and communication.
