Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in Berkeley, MO. You will lead the integration of QMS requirements into proposals and program processes, and develop quality metrics to ensure compliance with contractual, company and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include leading reviews, supporting supplier selection, driving non-conformance analysis, and implementing corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• 5+ year of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA).
• 5+ years of Quality Inspection experience, including FAI (First Article Inspection).
• 5+ years of experience working with Non-conformance (NCR) processes.

• Assists in development of new standards repairs for non-conformances
• Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions
• Develops and implements corrective actions
• Performs benchmarking and other forms of advanced analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved
• Works under minimal direction

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• 5+ year of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)
• 5+ of Quality Inspection experience, including FAI (First Article Inspection)
• 5+ years of experience working with Non-conformance (NCR) processes

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Certified Quality Manager or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) Certifications
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing Quality Engineering role

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: $122,400 - $165,600
