Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience; window, glass, or building products preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection tools.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and product specifications.
• Understanding of SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Effective communication across departments and shifts.
• Familiarity with NCRs and RMAs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect materials and finished products to verify conformance to specs and drawings.
• Perform quality audits of products and processes to ensure procedures are followed.
• Document inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions.
• Analyze quality data to identify root causes and drive improvements.
• Assist with investigations, NCRs, and RMAs.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and leadership to resolve issues.
• Provide training on specifications and inspection procedures.
• Calibrate and verify inspection tools and testing equipment.
• Support audits by providing documentation and quality data.
• Maintain quality records per ISO standards and company policies.
• Communicate quality concerns across shifts to ensure timely resolution.
• Partner with leadership to prioritize work and ensure on-time delivery.
